Cross Country Meet

This year our Cross Country meet is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st at Bruce’s Mill (regionals) and Friday, October 18th (Board Finals).  Students have been training during the recess and lunch hour!  Go Wildcats!!!

Grade 7 Immunizations

The York Region Public Health Department will be at ICN on Wednesday, October 2nd to administer the first dosage of the HPV and Hepatitis B immunizations. YRPH mailed out immunization consent forms in August directly to families with children enrolled in grade 7 for this school year. Civvies Day – Friday, September 27, 2019

Orange Shirt Day

ICN will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Monday, September 30th. On this day we recognize Canada’s Indigenous people, children and families impacted by Canada’s Residential Schools. As Catholics we often focus on reconciliation—this day marks our commitment in acknowledging that these wrongs should never happen to anyone again.  There will be an assembly for all students at 9:15 am in the gym.   ... Safety Awareness Week

During the week of September 23—September 27, as a school we will review and practice a variety of emergency drills and procedures in the event of an emergency situation. The drills include: Shelter in Place (extreme weather), Hold and Secure (dangerous situation outside), Lockdown (an intruder in the school or premises), and Evacuation (fire, gas leak, bomb threat, etc.) Schools are required to complete the ...
