Students are encouraged to wear a pink shirt, or something pink, on Tuesday, February 25th as a reminder that “Nice Needs No Filter.” All students will be participating in kindness activities on this day.

This year Immaculate Conception school will combine Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday celebrations and Pink Shirt day on Tuesday, February 25th. Thank you to the Catholic School Council for providing pancakes to all students on Shrove Tuesday (Please note that a permission form must be returned in order for your child to eat the pancakes on this day). On Thursday, February 20th at 1:30 pm all students from grades 1 to 6 will take part in an interactive presentation by Earth Rangers. Students will be educated about how plastic pollution is impacting marine animals, the impacts of food waste on terrestrial habitats and the importance of reducing our overall consumption.
