Our school community will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, September 30th. Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, governments, and schools, to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Every Child Matters. Students are asked to wear an orange coloured shirt or accessory (button, ribbon, bracelet, hair band, etc). All students in grades 2 to 8 will participate in a Board Presentation at 1:30 pm. Students in FDK and grade 1 will participate in an Orange Shirt day activity.
